It's

graphics application. |
Convert
monochrome and colour images
TraceLine
converts both monochrome and colour images. Simply
specify the number of colours you wish to produce
and TraceLine automatically carries out the colour
reduction. The resulting colour blocks are calculated
at the average value and you can see a visualisation
before tracing. Click on the thumbnail to see a larger
picture.
Complete
control
Preset
tracing "templates" offer quick and easy configuration
for different types of images such as cartoon, text
and photo. Full control over all the conversion options
is available and you can even save your own settings
as templates. Click on the thumbnail to see a larger
picture of the tracing options dialogue.
Edit
the outlines after conversion
Image
conversions nearly always require "tweaking". TraceLine
includes powerful tools to make the job easy. Individual
lines and curves can be manipulated simply by dragging.
Points (nodes) can be moved, deleted, added, broken
and joined. You can even draw your own lines and curves
to add new elements. Click on the thumbnail to see
a larger picture.
Flexible
colouring
Colour
your outlines simply using the colour palette. The
colour editor allows you to mix your own colours and
drop them into the palette or directly onto any closed
outline object. You can also drag and drop colours
from the palette to colour objects. You can even colour
objects within a group this way.
Great
value
TraceLine
is distributed as shareware.
This means you can try it out free for thirty days.
